Why Learning Spanish Will Help You Succeed In Life

¡Hola! (Hello!) Today I will tell you why learning Spanish will help you succeed in life. Learning a new language is an exciting experience that will give you many opportunities. It also opens doors to new cultures and people. As the wise Nelson Mandela said:

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”

Nelson Mandela

Why Learning Spanish Requires Practice Every Day.

It’s not enough to just take a class once in a while. To really master a new language, you need to practice every day. This means speaking with people, reading books, watching movies, and listening to music in the language.

When I was an English student, for example, I used to watch lots of movies and TV shows in English. First, I started watching with subtitles in Spanish, my native language. Then, I chose English subtitles. Eventually I turned off the subtitles. This is a great strategy to challenge yourself and measure your own  learning progress.
