The results are in, you are a:
Pasito a pasito, suave suavecito, nos vamos acercando a la meta poquito a poquito.
You’re on the right path! Let’s keep taking small calculated steps to achieve your goals.
Keep studying and practicing Argentine Spanish to open up cultural, personal and professional opportunities. Progress may be slow at times, but every effort counts. Try practicing daily, at least 15 minutes a day, and use the valuable resources I’m going to share with you. Don’t be discouraged by not understanding the accent or slang, as this is a natural part of the learning process. Keep persevering to upgrade from rising fluent speaker to Argentine gaucho in the making.
¡Ánimo! Después de todo, la práctica hace al maestro.
You’ve already learned some Argentine Spanish slang words and can put them in context. ¡Genial! However, you’re not quite where you’d like to be as a Spanish speaker. The slow progress is so discouraging, it might even make you think you just don’t have what it takes.
Nevertheless, your frustration is eclipsed by something far bigger… the goal that you’ve committed to achieving. And if you stay committed, you’ll be speaking like a true argento in no time.
You’re so close to becoming a confident Spanish speaker. Trust the process and more importantly, trust yourself. ¡Vos podés!
Learning Spanish is taking lots of your time and energy. Every study session feels like an intense cross-fit trainning that leaves your brain exhausted.
The truth is that becoming a fluent speaker is just as challenging as becoming the guy that lifts the heaviest barbell at the gym. Do you know that guy’s secret? Discipline. He’s showed up every day at the gym for a long time to get stronger until one day he overcame his biggest challenge. Successful language students are also disciplined and committed.
Dedicate time to improve your Spanish on a daily basis. Keep your goal in mind and never give up. ¡Dale, campeón(a)!
You tend to put pressure on yourself to understand everything that a native says.
When you fail to follow along, you feel embarrased to ask the speaker to repeat themselves. You wish you were able to just keep the conversation going.
Know that the solution to this problem starts with you. You’ll soon discover that putting all this pressure on yourself is actually stopping you from achieving your goal.
It’s time to shift your mindset. Start prioritizing communication over accuracy and you’ll be speaking confidently in un abrir y cerrar de ojos.
These Easy Argentine Spanish resources are some of my favorites for a rising fluent speaker on their way to become a gaucho in the making.

In Argentine Spanish ‘vos’ is the main pronoun used by natives, who don’t use the form “tú”. If your goal is to speak like a native Argentinian, go ahead and download Easy Argentine Spanish’s free app “Vos SOS”.
This app will help you differentiate vos vs tú statements and commands. You are presented with two options and your goal is to choose the one that corresponds with the Argentina Spanish ‘vos’ conjugation.
The app is divided in three categories: easy, intermediate and difficult. The easy level shows regular verbs, the intermediate level irregular verbs, and the difficult level a combination of both.
As it says in the title, this step is optional for a rising fluent speaker, since you might already know how to use ‘vos’ well. However, if you want to get some extra practice or to review any particular verb, I highly encourage you to get started now.
This app is available on Google Play for Android users. It isn’t available for Apple users, sorry guys. Click here to take a step outside your comfort zone and dive into the world of ‘voseo’.
Hello student! My name is Melany Di Leva and I am from Mar del Plata, Argentina. I graduated as a translator, but I have dedicated myself to teaching ELE, which stands for Español como Lengua Extranjera (Spanish as a foreign language).
My goal as a Spanish teacher from Argentina is to make you fall in love with my country, my native language, and my culture. I want YOU to speak this language with confidence and to feel part of the Argentine community. It is my dream to break language barriers and make this a more united world.
I created this website to give students the resources to study Argentine Spanish. Here you will learn how to use the voseo, understand the slang, improve your listening skills, and learn more about this incredible country at the end of the world. ¡Dale, che!
