Here's What You Should Do

It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and dive into Argentine Spanish! Studying Spanish unlocks a world of possibilities. Did you know there are over 500 million Spanish speakers in the world? I know it isn’t easy and there’ll be times when you’ll feel stuck, but that’s a natural part of the learning process. Embrace the challenge of speaking Argentine Spanish and reap the rewards. Don’t just speak your native tongue – take a step outside and upgrade from ambitious beginner to Argentine gaucho in the making.

¡Ánimo! Después de todo, la práctica hace al maestro.

From Your Quiz Results I Know That

You wish to challenge yourself and expand your mind. You want to dive into Argentine Spanish because it offers a unique dialect to explore, allowing you to connect with new people, gain new perspectives, and experience personal growth.

Problem is, there’s a voice in the back of your head saying “this is too much to take in,” “it’s too difficult” and “I don’t think I have time for this.” Stop believing these nonsense!

Believe in yourself! You have what it takes to speak Spanish fluently. Step out of your comfort zone and discover the joy of language learning. ¡Dale, campeón(a)!

You’ve heard that the Argentinian variant is completely different from others and this is a red flag for you. In fact, it’s likely that you asked yourself “will other Spanish speakers understand me if I learn Argentine Spanish?”

Know that the answer is yes, everyone will understand you. These differences are nothing to be concerned about. In fact, you will notice that most of the characteristics that make Argentine Spanish unique are easy to learn, such as the pronunciation of ‘y’ and ‘ll.’

By learning Argentine Spanish, you’ll not only learn the fascinating language but also gain an insight into the rich culture of the country. ¡Animate!

You tend to put pressure on yourself to remember every new word you learn.

When you fail to remember a word you’ve just learned, you feel disappointed. You wish you could easily add new words into your vocabulary.

Know that the solution to this problem starts with you. You’ll soon discover that putting all this pressure on yourself is actually stopping you from achieving your goal.

It’s time to shift your mindset. Instead of focusing on isolated words, try to understand the overall message. Follow this advice and you’ll be able to engage in conversation muy pronto.

Step 2: Binge-Watch Your Way to Spanish Fluency

Let authentic videos be your guide to mastering Spanish. I want you to head over to my Youtube channel and say “chau” to boring textbooks. Learn Spanish through videos hosted by your Argentinian tutor Melany. But hey, che, I don’t want you to just watch videos, you’ve got practice to do!

1. Start with the “Argentine Spanish Accent”(click) playlist and follow the challenge to improve pronunciation.

2. Move on to the playlist “Argentine Slang Words”(click) and write down your own examples with the slang words.

Millions of language students around the world turn to Podcasts to improve their listening skills. It is a convenient way of learning because you can listen to it anywhere and anytime you want.

I am posting an episode every 15 days with YOU in mind. Subscribe and discover the joy of learning Spanish through the power of podcasting.

Step 4 (Optional): Use 'VOS' Like a True Porteño

In Argentine Spanish ‘vos’ is the main pronoun used by natives, who don’t use the form “tú”. If your goal is to speak like a native Argentinian, go ahead and download Easy Argentine Spanish’s free app “Vos SOS”.

This app will help you differentiate vos vs tú statements and commands. You are presented with two options and your goal is to choose the one that corresponds with the Argentina Spanish ‘vos’ conjugation.

The app is divided in three categories: easy, intermediate and difficult. The easy level shows regular verbs, the intermediate level irregular verbs, and the difficult level a combination of both.

As it says in the title, this step is optional. However, I highly recommend practicing grammar to upgrade from ambitious beginner to rising fluent speaker. It is very important to understand and use ‘vos’ well when speaking Argentine Spanish. Therefore, I highly encourage you to get started now.

This app is available on Google Play for Android users. It isn’t available for Apple users, sorry guys. Click here to take a step outside your comfort zone and dive into the world of ‘voseo’.
